Turtleneck Sweaterdress and Oversized Plaid Blazer – Fall Brand Photoshoot Outfit Inspiration

WHAT TO WEAR FOR OUTDOOR BUSINESS HEADSHOTS IN THE FALL AND WINTER

A closer look at what I wore to capture photos for my business website and social media marketing at Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales, Florida

Sleeveless sweaterdress and an oversized vintage blazer

Fall in Florida doesn’t see weather cooler than 70 degrees in the mid-afternoon, and I wanted to have a cold-to-warm transitioning outfit while I was taking headshots in the orange grove. My turtleneck dress was an old piece I had tucked away in the closet years ago. It came with a matching long-length sweater but I felt like it blended together when photographed, and I wanted the outfit to have a bit of a pop on camera. So I rummaged through my mom’s closet full of old, outdated items she hadn’t yet set off the goodwill, and found this vintage, extra large gray plaid blazer. I love how to structure compliments the soft sweater fabric of the dress, and adds a lightness of color and pattern to the whole outfit.
